Description
Candidate will:

Skills:

Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Tester

Description
Primary responsibilities for the Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Tester include quality control, creating and implementing test plans, full lifecycle bug tracking, reporting, retesting, continuous process improvement, configuration management, metrics development and deployment. This is a hands-on role working on complex problems requiring very sharp analysis skills. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work within a team with minimal supervision.
Skills
- extensive knowledge of application and system development methodologies, and software test methodologies
- design and use automated testing tools, issue and resolution tracking, coordination of test faults ('bug fixes'), application version control, and staging and release management
- experience with all types of testing including unit testing, system integration tests, regression tests, scalability tests, capacity tests, and user acceptance tests
- requires exceptional communication skills, oral and written, with technical and non- technical audiences at all levels (must be willing and able to create extensive technical and non-technical documentation)
- broad experience with Visual Basic .Net, C++ (would be useful), networking (TCP/IP and/or Telnet), and RFID hardware integration
- experience within the supply chain management, library, or similar environment strongly preferred
