ITG supplies passive, high-frequency RFID tags that operate at 13.56 MHz and contain the ISO15693 and ISO18000-3 compliant Philips SLI read/write chip. These RFID tags are specifically designed
to be applied onto library media such as books, CDs, DVDs, and tapes and come in both square tags for use with books and most other items, and “donut” tags for use with CDs and DVDs.
Thin and flexible, these RFID tags can be affixed directly to library material or converted into printed adhesive labels (featuring the library logo, for instance) and placed inside the items. The tags we sell are compatible with ITG’s systems as well as any other vendor’s system that uses tags based on the Philips SLI chip.
ITG can supply pre-printed tags or tag overlay labels that can contain the library’s logo, or any other desired information. Overlays provide additional protection from damage and tampering and are recommended as a low cost alternative to pre-printed tags.
