Fully Secured AV Collection +
Full Featured Patron Self-Checkout =
Apex AV Xpress™

ITG's new, patent-pending solution enables patron self-checkout of AV materials without compromising the security of your valuable and vulnerable AV collection. Apex AV Xpress can be configured to open Kwik Cases®, SecureCases™,
One-Time Cases™ and other AV security cases only after the item has been checked out to the patron. |
Apex DiscXpress II
Deliver DVDs and CDs from a Secure Storage Vault.
Connect one or two Apex XpressCheck™ self-checkout stations to the same Apex DiscXpress II system. An Apex DiscXpress II system consists of one or more towers in which five 100-disk carousels are stacked. A single tower holds up to 500 disks; a double tower holds up to 1,000. When connected to an Apex XpressCheck, all items can be checked out in a single self-checkout transaction at the same time, in the same way, regardless of item type. Disks dispense automatically during the self-checkout process. On-screen prompts lead the patron through the checkout process.
Libraries with larger AV collections can opt for the Apex DiscXpress II Central Dispensing Unit (CDU). Disks are distributed in a separate step after successful checkout by staff or by patrons at the Apex XpressCheck. Patrons simply go to the CDU and scan their patron cards. The system dispenses their checked-out disks. |

Apex RFID™

Renowned for its intuitive and straightforward user interface, the Apex RFID solution includes the industry’s most advanced RFID technology. This groundbreaking technology brings together the power of radio frequency identification technology and library information storage to enhance the
efficiency of operations and to greatly improve your patrons' library experience. |
Automated Materials Handling (AMH) Solutions

ITG’s AMH offerings include automated returns and sorting systems that allow you to return materials to the shelves and provide for patrons awaiting reserves in less than half the time. As patrons insert their items into the system, the library’s database is updated in real time while the sorting
system delivers materials to shelving or reserve bins. |
Bookmobile Connectivity

The innovative MobileCirc™ library circulation software bridges the “stress” gap for bookmobiles attempting to communicate via low bandwidth connections to the main branch. This groundbreaking technology improves the efficiency of bookmobile operations and thereby enhances the patron experience. MobileCirc
circulation software can be used with a cellular modem to effortlessly connect bookmobiles to the main branch, avoiding some of the hassles associated with satellite set-up and poor connectivity. |
Supplies and Accessories

ITG, along with our parent company, Vernon Library Supplies, Inc., can supply the library with whatever supplies and accessories today’s libraries require. Whether it is receipt printers or paper, bar code scanners or labels, or other needed materials, ITG can provide what you need. |
