ITG RFID™ Tags

ITG supplies passive, high-frequency RFID tags that operate at 13.56 MHz and contain the ISO 15693 and 18000-3 compliant NXP SLI read/write chip. These RFID tags are specifically designed to be applied onto library media such as books, CDs, DVDs, and tapes and come in both square tags for use with books and most other items, and "donut" tags for use with CDs and DVDs.

Thin and flexible, these RFID tags can be affixed directly to library material or converted into printed adhesive labels (featuring the library logo, for instance) and placed inside the items. The tags we sell are compatible with ITG's systems as well as any other vendor's system that uses tags based on the NXP SLI chip.

ITG can supply pre-printed tags or tag overlay labels that can contain the library's logo, or any other desired information. Overlays provide additional protection from damage and tampering and are recommended as a low cost alternative to pre-printed tags. Click here for more information.

"My processing staff tells me the stingray tags are very easy to apply - in fact they just do it with the disk right in the case which saves them handling. This is our first time using the preprogrammed tags and they are working great on all new materials. Again, a big time savings for processing. Plus all the tags have a great read range which helps customers and staff at the other end.

I really appreciate your flexibility in shipping partial orders so I could split the cost over 2 fiscal years. It's great working with you."
